Moraitika village is one of the liveliest tourist resorts of Corfu island and is located in front of a perfect beach. The village is within close proximity to the town of Corfu in a distance of 12 miles from the airport which is located in kanoni village. The main street of Moraitika is a strip of bars, restaurants and shops that straggles for over a kilometre to the junction where the main road veers inland and the Messonghi River just beyond it forms the official boundary with Messonghi.

On the main road, around 400m south of Hotel Potamaki. A/c interior helps to cool the revellers at this slightly scaled-down alternative dancing venue to the adjacent Stadium.

Not very Irish but Guinness is among the beers on tap at this pub with pool and karaoke; Internet for around €6 per hour.
On the main road, 400m south of Hotel Potamaki. Benitses' prime nightspot, so popular that the occasional busload arrives from Kavos. Standard thumping disco beats with the odd Greek hit thrown into the mix.
Halfway along pedestrianized street behind park. Small bar with a narrow interior and seating out on the park square. Doubles as cheap snack bar by day and is more pop than ethnic by night. . Eating outThere are at least a dozen fast food outlets, as well as plenty of restaurants, on the main road and behind the beach-most tend to supply solid rather thanexceptional food. Don’t forget to savor the locally prepared seafood delicacies. They are just too good to be missed and the chefs do a marvelous job preparing them.
Behind the southern end of the beach, 100m north of the water-slide. Beachside restaurant, with shady seating, that specializes, as the name suggests, in fresh seafood and fish at reasonable prices.
On the northernmost beach lane, 100m from the main road. Quiet, decent-value garden taverna offering Greek meat and vegetables as well as schnitzels. Also does a nice line in desserts.
Behind southern end of the beach, 30m north of the water-slide. Large beachfront taverna serving all the usual local staples at reasonable prices, with a nightly traditional dance show. On the beach side of the main road, around 300m from the northern end of the resort.
In an alley off the inland side of the main road, about 300m from the southern end. Garden taverna, atmospherically lit at night, which provides a range of tasty mezedhes and Greek standards, as well as stroganoffznd other foreign fare, at prices only slightly above average.
On the beach side of the main road, under 200m from thesouth end. Excellent small psistaria that turns out vast quantities of souvlakia and cheap grilled chops.
Traveler Tips
Buses and Taxis are inexpensive. Abba Rent a Car offers reasonable rates on cars with fully comprehensive insurance. Facilities & Amenities Medical Centre, Hairdresser, Go-karting, Travel offices, Safety deposit box facilities, bureau de charge services.
